Transfer Me Health will purchase a specific telemedicine plan for every health insurance plan you purchase. We have partnered with Health Connect 24x7, Nigeria's leading telemedicine company for our corporate social responsibility programme. Through our “Buy One. Care One.” programme, we are providing the most vulnerable and marginalised people free access to telemedicine care for one year. They can call a doctor via a toll-free line and get primary care medical advice from Nigeria-based, Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria-registered doctors, in Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa and of course, English; 24 hours a day and seven days a week! Having access to a doctor will help to empower the participants so that beyond the one year subscription, they’ll understand the importance of good health and well-being and communicate this message to empower others.​

 

UKC Health has already shown its commitment by starting the programme with an initial 100 people, who now have free telemedicine access. We aim to add 1,000 Nigerians to the programme within one year and the clock is ticking.
